Broadband squeezed microwaves and amplification with a Josephson travelling-wave parametric amplifier

Squeezing of the electromagnetic vacuum is an essential metrological technique used to reduce quantum noise in applications spanning gravitational wave detection, biological microscopy, and information science. In superconducting circuits, resonator-based Josephson-junction parametric amplifiers conventionally generate squeezed microwaves are constrained by a narrow bandwidth low dynamic range. this work, we develop dual-pump, broadband Josephson traveling-wave amplifier that combines phase-sensitive extinction ratio 56 dB with single-mode squeezing on par best squeezers. We also demonstrate two-mode at microwave frequencies gigahertz range almost two orders magnitude wider than contemporary Our capable simultaneously creating entangled photon pairs large frequency separation, potential including high-fidelity qubit readout, illumination teleportation.
